We went to Rob at A1 Advanced Drafting for help meeting the council DA requirements for our proposed GRANNY FLAT and his service was nothing but professional. Robert has been a fantastic exponent of converting sometimes difficult and confused ideas into practical outcomes. His calm and happy disposition meant that we could present a range of options often in conflict with each other and Robert was able to suggest ways we could meet our expectations of the final product as a clear and sensible solution.
His drafting was concise and still able to display clearly what the final outcome would look like. He also collated the necessary council documentation without fuss so that we received all that was necessary for a successful application as if it was no bother at all.
I strongly recommend Robert to do your drawings and submissions to council for a very satisfactory and trouble fee experience.

We recently engaged Robert to do our renovation plans. We had a tight schedule and it was important that the plans were delivered on time. From the beginning, Robert was extremely easy to work with. Robert Rumore was commissioned by us to assist in redesigning our residence at 131 Scenic Highway Terrigal. The aging house was a typical 1940 residence that had been badly redesigned over its 70 year life. Apart from a sloping block, we had a very difficult foot print to work with. With Roberts expertise, initiative and creativity we redesigned and totally rebuilt the home to its current status.
The house is now acknowledge by its local peers as a remarkable achievement in renovating and rebuilding.

Dear Robert,
Karen and I would just like to thank you for the plans you have recently drafted for the extensions we have planned for our home. Your professional and friendly manner made the process a pleasure and the detailed results you have produced look fantastic and we can't wait to have our "new" home completed.
In particular we'd like to express our thanks for the design advice and the building industry knowledge you were able to bring to the process. This has been a signifigant help for us in choosing materials and in making smart choices in the layout of the new house. Ideas such as positioning the new rooms and wondows and sizing the eaves to make the most of the sun and the views available on the property, laying out the bathrooms with consideration of where to position towels and laundry baskets, and many other aspects considered with similar forethought, will all greatly add to the overall appeal and comfort of our home and I'm sure will translate into a higher resale should we ever want to move.
Also I was astounded at the number and complexity of documents that the council required for our submission. the Application for Approval, The Application Statement, the Addendumm to the Specification, the connection of House drainage document,\ and the Waste Management Plan, BASIX Certificate and Bushfire report were all a bit overwhelming. Your help through this minefield of council bureaucracy was excellent. We'd still be struggling with this now without the work you did in this regard.
Similarly your advice on how to go about getting competitive quotes from builders will be a great benefit and probably save us money when the time comes. Lastly your prices were very competitive compared to the other quotes we received and so we were very happy with this aspect also.
